Special features
Regular Cleanliness
Goshala workers collect dung at regular intervals and ensure cleanliness of Goshala. Cows and cattle are also bathed at regular intervals.
Open Grazing
Goshala takes special care of health and happiness of cows and cattle by taking them for open grazing in lush green forest from 8am to 11am. Other than that dried and green grass and evening’s special food helps the cows heal and stay healthy.
Love and Affection
This is the most important aspect of the Goshala, we encourage people to spend time with the cows and train them, even brush them. Due to this, cows in Gokul Goshala are not afraid of human presence and like to be with people. They are treated like other members of the society.
Goshala is spacious
Our goshala is for cows, calves, new born calves, sick cows and young cows. There is enough space for walking, sitting, standing, or sleeping. Shaded areas as well as open spaces are maintained for soaking in the sun. Download About Gokul Goshala
We believe that there is no greater service than serving cows. The cow is considered the abode of all the gods and, hence, the most sacred of all the animals in the Hindu religion.
Why we should donate :-
Donating for cows is often associated with supporting animal welfare, especially in regions where cows hold cultural or religious significance. Cows are considered sacred in Hinduism, and contributing to their well-being is seen as a virtuous act. Additionally, donations can go towards providing food, shelter, and medical care for cows, promoting compassion and humane treatment of animals. Supporting initiatives that focus on cow welfare can contribute to the overall ethical treatment of animals and sustainable agricultural practices.
Our Mission – At Gokul Goushala we strive to create a high-impact, well-connected movement at all levels that will continually address ongoing cow issues to build shelters across the country, providing food, care, and love for the old, injured, and abandoned cows and cats.
